Just a little intro to our team members.  First one to say hi is Wendy the Manager and senior florist working here. 

Hi there everyone just a little something about me and how I came to be a florist.  My mum said I was born looking at flowers and as a small child if ever they lost sight  of me I would be found in a clump of flowers trying to collect them .  All my working life has evolved around flowers in one way or another. After qualifying at Askham Bryan York in Horticulture  I worked for several years for the local authority in the Park Department rising to Chargehand but after marrying I decided to follow my real passion of Floristry and re train .  I have worked in many flower shops and gained lots of useful skills along the way but for the last twenty years I have worked at this wonderful family shop and risen to be the Manager.

My passion outside of work is my dogs and horses along with fast jets and airshows. I have a real passion for the Battle of Britain memorial flight which is based down at Coningsby and my younger daughter and I love to go down to see the planes.  You can often find me out walking on the Harewood Est  ( Emmerdal Village  ) with the dogs or attending a local horse show with my girls. My biggest ambition is to go to Miramar in the US to see the home of Top gun and hopefully meet Tom Cruise lol.
